How NearbyTraders uses cookies
NearbyTraders is a free directory of tradespeople covering Kent and
Greater London. We use a small set of first-party cookies to remember
whether you have dismissed the cookie banner and which shortlisted
traders you have saved on this device. We do not sell, share, or rent
any cookie data to third parties.
Analytics and measurement
To understand which pages are useful and which are not we load a
privacy-respecting analytics script once you have given consent. The
analytics script stores a randomised session identifier and the page
URL. No personally identifying information is collected and no
cross-site tracking is performed. If you prefer, you can click the
"Reject optional cookies" button in the banner and only the strictly
necessary cookies above will be set.
Affiliate click tracking
Some outbound links on NearbyTraders go to partner sites such as
Checkatrade or MyBuilder. When you click one of those links a short
redirect cookie is written so the partner can credit the referral.
This cookie expires within 30 days and does not contain any data you
have entered on NearbyTraders.
Managing cookies
You can clear all cookies set by nearbytraders.co.uk at any time
through your browser settings. Clearing them will reset your
shortlist and the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit.
